Our Story

Rooted in Ekiti.
Built for Every Nigerian Kitchen and for Global Consumption.

We're a family-owned agro-processor on a mission to turn Nigeria's richest harvests into staples worth trusting.

From land to legacy

The Pillars Farms Limited was incorporated on May 18th, 2011, the day a vision became a registered Nigerian business.

That same year, we acquired 37 hectares of land in Ayebode Ekiti, a community in Ekiti State long known for its agrarian roots: yam, plantain, cassava, maize, beans, groundnuts, pepper, tomatoes, cocoyam, cocoa, kolanut, oil palm.

It's hard to stand on land that abundant and not start asking bigger questions.

In 2015, we began planning an agro-processing factory: a way to turn the harvest of Ayebode and the surrounding region into shelf-stable products that families across Nigeria could rely on. After years of careful building, that factory is now complete and operational at Ayebode Ekiti.

Diversity Foods is the registered trademark for our processing division. The name is intentional. Nigeria's agricultural diversity is one of the country's greatest assets, and our work is to honor it, starting with yam and plantain.
